Warehouse Assembly Technician:

The Warehouse Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by assembling products and components according to specified guidelines. As part of the 10ZiG Shipping Team, you’ll gather and assemble parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in our Thin & Zero Client (computer hardware) manufacturing environment. 

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards, as well as completing the shipping process for assembled products. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret sales orders, bills of materials, and other instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Use handheld tools like screw and drill guns
  • Maintain product inventory in workstations
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards
  • Identify defects and document them appropriately
  • Follow quality standards and safety procedures in all tasks
  • Keep the work area clean and safe
  • Package and ship assembled products efficiently
  • Take part in regular inventory counts
  • Receive palletized freight and assist in unloading shipping containers

Qualification requirements:

  • Consistently demonstrate manual dexterity for assembling parts or pieces swiftly and accurately
  • Frequently engage in repetitive tasks
  • Exhibit the ability to execute work with precision and thoroughness
  • Possess basic reading skills and comprehension, with the capability to follow directions
  • Have foundational computer navigation and usage skills
  • Maintain high attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Ability to lift between 50-75 pounds
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED; some college education is preferred
  • Proficiency in English is essential for performing duties and reading sales orders effectively
  • Familiarity with UPS World Ship and/or FedEx Ship Manager is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is beneficial
